CHANEL at Net-a-porter

Images from a recent shoot with the creative studio team at Net-a-porter.com. I was asked to shoot various test shoots in the run up to exclusive pop up shop launch last month. This involved the opportunity to create some unique lighting for still life and model imagery which led on to also shooting the main campaign imagery too! 

There were many test shoots involving a very snazzy slo-mo camera to capture the jewellery falling from the air, the tricky task of photographing gold on black and overcoming the reflection issues to mastering the art of posing a model with limited movement available in order to have all the product visible whilst coming up with original poses...Along with a brilliant yet small creative team with shot the whole Chanel campaign in house at Net-a-porter.com.

When it comes to statement accessories, Charlotte Beecham, founder of the brand Charlotte Simone is making serious waves. An industry favourite, her colourful ‘popsicle’ stoles are worn by the likes of Alexa Chung, Olivia Palermo, Rita Ora and Sienna Miller, as well as receiving endless press. It really is a matter of go fluffy or go home.
We entered the fun world of Charlotte Simone greeted with open arms, rail upon rail of furry creations, pink bon bons and Harold, the energetic sausage dog (follow Harold’s antics @harold_simone).

HER - App launch imagery

A few images from a recent shot for the launch of HER, an online dating app for woman formerly known as Dattch. Working with Robyn (CEO) of the company and her fab team we pulled together a last minute shoot on the Valentine's Day (I know!) and created the new imagery for the launch of the new app in San Francisco and London this month! We shot so many various scenes throughout the whole day and the girls were just brilliant to work with...looking forward to seeing the images in some exciting places soon!

Fine Jewellery, test shoot

Images from a recent collaboration. I was keen to work and practice with constant light on this shoot, we'd decided it was going to be moody and B&W early on which lent well to the shadowed textured effect I wanted to get throughout the images. With only an hour to shoot the 5 looks the shots turned out well !

A portrait of Aimee. 

Shot on a winters morning after breakfast just before the whole family embarked on hilly walk. I knew something was on her mind but wasn't sure what it was exactly...I asked her to focus on the sunlight coming through the window and hoped to capture her mood through her gaze. I'm intrigued by the intensity felt through this image and really love the subtle colour tones. Shot on 35mm.
