Fred Sandback at the David Zwirner Gallery
I found myself at the private view of an exhibition of work by American artist Fred Sandback last night....
By stretching yarn horizontally, vertically, or diagonally at
different lengths, scales, and in varied configurations, Fred the artist has
developed a singular body of work over the span of his life time that elaborated on the
phenomenological experience of space and volume with unwavering
consistency and ingenuity.
My friends and I were immediately taken aback by the illusion the yarn caused us when entering the exhibition, the perfect square shaped yarn created a mirror effect. We had some fun with his illusions in the above photo....

New website
Yesterday I launched a re-design of my website thanks to creative and technical design from the wonderful James Brannon, over the past 6 months my new site has been completely re-built and designed. It looks similar to my old site however, there are a few subtle visual design changes, some new photography and also the ability to view the entire site on iPads, Tablet and fancy devices.

Tall ships
Photos from a recent promo shoot with the lovely talented trio Tall ships. We joined together, braved the rain and fading light to create a bunch of new photographs to co advertise the release of their forth coming album 'Everything Touching.' They will also be playing at this year's Reading and Leeds festivals on the BBC introducing stage. Catch them if you can.
