Behind the scenes snap from a music video I was working on a few weeks ago...

I'm always up for learning new things so it was a pleasure to be asked to Assist the stills Photographer on this shoot, it was such an interesting insight into capturing moving image...

In between set-ups, I found time to peer over the shoulders of some of the video guys and politely badgered and asked some 'techy' questions about some of the amazing cameras and kit they had... The HD super slow motion camera was my favourite! 

Their monster kit dwarfed my little film camera nevertheless it was awesome to witness the creation and effort involved in this production.

Images from a recent test shoot for a potential regular feature for Brownsfashion. 

Within the build up of London fashion week I've been photographing for Browns a l o t recently and the other day I was asked to produce/shoot 'a look of the week' type thing and given no brief although full reigns on creating one - awesome. but told one thing 'make it good' -great,  

There were of course the usual limitations and restrictions mainly surrounding time, sourcing location and efficiently to produce a sucessful set of the images. Although, through inspiration from Garance Dore I knew and know the type of shots and colours I'm after.... I think.

I quite like these although, I'm looking forward to hopefully shooting more and experimenting abit.

I admit. I may have neglected this space alittle recently...  a combination of not being near a computer nor in the country and having fun has been a distraction - a poor excuse.

Although, 

thought I'd share some portraits from a recent trip, these photographs are of a friend I met in the Greek Islands called 'Dimitris', as soon as I saw him I knew I had to take his portrait...We spent a few days hanging out together in what felt like paradise and throughout I had plenty of time to ask him for a picture although, in true holiday mode I forgot and I only managed to steal these shots minutes before I had to jump on a boat to leave the island, as we were swimming back ashore he was kind enough to let me take this simple portrait. I love the colour of the water.

A sneak peek at a few images from a recent Press shoot with 'Daughter' aka Elena Tonra, In the midst of the beastly London riots this week we pulled together a shoot with this lovely pair. 

I'm a big fan of Daughter so it was a pleasure to have the opportunity to spend the day taking photos with the band...
