another editorial shoot.

A couple of images from a recent editorial shoot for Brownsfashion , the shoot will run as an online feature on their website today for one week entitled 'know your knits' for AW10. A simple simple shoot with very little lighting a really good shoot to do as it challenged my abilty to light my subject efficently with my limited lighting, 8 looks in total and lots of lovely clothes...

Brothers.and.Sisters.

This is portrait of my Brother, Tom. It was shot some time ago when he was struggling to find a place to live and the pressures of his MA we're getting heavy, so i went round for a cup of tea and a chat, we sat all afternoon and chatted about everything and nothing, which felt good.
I like his 'todo' book sitting on radiator it adds to the reflective mood of the photo.

Wimbledon 2010. this is a shot from finals day at Wimbledon in July, this was taken leading up to moments of Rafa Nadels Win in this years competition, hundreds of people gathered on Henman hill in the Summer heat and warm fun (and tense at times) atmosphere to watch the game on the big screen, and these are some of them. Everyone has their own fixated gaze I could stare and explore this picture for ages...yum.

this is officially the first "published" image from a personal project I have been shooting entitled 'Dreamers'.
the project is about photographing people a sleep on the London Underground and other modes of public transport. to achieve these photographs the subjects are completely unaware I have taken there portrait, this involves patience, opportunity and understanding from those around me.
i have been shooting this project for 4/5 months and I'm going to carry on shooting it some more, it's a fun project and chance to photograph some wonderful expressions...more to come.
