Ballie Ballerson popup ball pit bar, London
Ballie Ballerson is an underground space themed ball pit filled with
200,000 plastic balls, inflatable rings and foam toys all set to a
soundtrack of funk and soul from the DJs.
The ball pit was arguably the
best part of any soft play area as a child and now you can relive your
lost youth, except this time you’ll be fuelled by E numbers and alcohol
as they serve up retro sweet cocktails – we’ll be ordering the Dippie
Dabberson, a mix of cherry brandy, sloe gin and magic dust. Head
upstairs after for the likes of chicken kiev balls, fried cheese balls
and Yorkshire pudding balls. All about the balls.
Photos taken by myself at the soft launch in November 2016.

TRACEY EMIN & STEPHEN WEBSTER
Images from a recent Fine Jewellery collaboration x Net-a-porter.com to co-inside for the launch of Steven Webster x Tracey Emin jewellery collection. This shoot was a lot of fun as this time we were working with neon-light and minimal light plus a tight deadline!
Collection entitled 'I promise to Love you.'
Jewellery designers often look to wordplay and nature for inspiration, however Stephen Webster and Tracey Emin have just raised the bar by launching a 35-piece collection based on Emin’s handwritten scrawls and woodland sketches, including delicate pendants, bracelets, ear cuffs and rings, set in 18K yellow gold.
Webster has reinvented the British artist’s iconic neon signs as intricate pieces of jewellery - ‘I Promise to Love You’, ‘Kiss’ and ‘With You I Breathe’ are scrawled across necklaces and statement cuffs in Emin’s signature rolling handwriting while her celebrated drawings of animals are translated into whimsical charms and tiny pendants. Signet rings and gypsy bracelets complete the collection, referencing her childhood growing up in a seaside town.

Aimee Betts x Ilado Paris
London based Textile Designer Aimee Betts creates hand braided accessories, fabrics & furnishings inspired by the traditions of embroidery & knotting. For her first collaboration with Ilado she has created a collection of 4 vibrant bracelets, combining colourful-knotted cotton thread with the beautiful rose-gold Bola.
I was invited to her studio to observe her making the collection and take her portrait one sunny Sunday afternoon. We chatted lots about the inspiration behind the collection, art, culture, the history of colour and all things colourful...what a delightful afternoon!
